On the day that our beloved Zo-meister is in for his second surgery (supposedly, much shorter & easier than the last one - hopefully, he's doing REALLY well), the latest from Atlanta, per Baggerly:
- Nate Schierholtz may have broken his foot & is about to have an X-ray.
- Jeff Keppinger is having an MRI on his wrist.
- Carlos Beltran is finally on the DL.
- His replacement ... Miguel Tejada.
OK, we've finally leveled the playing field & given the Braves half a chance. Now, let's go & beat them anyway! GO GIANTS!!!
Addendum:
ReplyDelete- Panda is in, playing 1B, with Tejada at 3B, Huff in LF, & Belt in RF.
- Romo is on DL, with Runzler called up.
- Bench consists of DeRosa (yeah, right) & Whiteside. Per my predictions, Bumgarner & Vogelsong are top PH's.
It's hard to think of what to say. Another gut-busting loss. What this team needs is some wins.
