It's all there--he still has the stuff, but something is off with his mojo.

A well-rounded team could survive these lapses. A few key hits, a few rallies, we could be managing this bad spell instead of going into free-fall. All three of the teams we've played have key players missing due to injury. We have no excuse. And we simply don't have the guns to play catch-up. We're a one-trick pony, and when that act fails there nothing else in the show.

ChrisQ @ BCB points out that we have to play .542 ball to finish with 85 wins and .602 ball to win 90.

Tall orders, those.M.C. He lucked out by being with the Giants and so far he has been a pitcher with a losing record with nice peripherals.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7941261488380355005.post-64899470114435830962010-07-02T22:30:02.762-07:002010-07-02T22:30:02.762-07:00I don't care that he hit 95mph, his command an...I don't care that he hit 95mph, his command and pitches all got better when he actually lost some of his velocity. He doesn't look as confident out there. When Bochy doesn't fk up the lineup too much, he's fks up the bullpen (really? put in Affeldt for more than an inning?). Be nice if we were somehow able to beat Ubaldo. That would jump start the team quite nicely. A guy can dream can't he.

I almost cried today. They're really testing me. I wish I paid attention after it was 5 to 3. I want to see this Chris Ray guy.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
