It's a pleasure to watch them both.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7941261488380355005.post-37061782024054526492010-06-04T06:53:38.252-07:002010-06-04T06:53:38.252-07:00Bowker down, Burrell up.

That's the key to the team. They'll all have ups and downs, but over the long haul (assuming full health) we are going to get a very high percentage of "quality starts" with some outstanding ones thrown in as well. If we had a lineup with that kind of depth and talent we'd win 100+ games. Hell, if we had an "above-average" lineup we'd be the West favorites every season.M.C. Of course, he did just have his two best starts EVER (pretty much). Calling Tim #4 after his two worst outings EVER (pretty much) is kinda fickle, don't you think? You might also remind yourself that Tim should have 3 more wins (arguably 4) due to bullpen failure...but I guess that's nitpicking.

From here on out, which of our starters is going to improve? And which are going to "regress"? I think everyone pretty much knows the answer to both of those questions.JC Parsonshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00666659454815710731noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7941261488380355005.post-18577053509880802292010-06-03T18:23:09.630-07:002010-06-03T18:23:09.630-07:00Hey anonymous, I like what you write. Who cares who the best pitcher currently is on the staff? If we keep winning games, does it really matter? We have 4 great pitchers with another in AAA. Pitching with this team never scares me, we just need a friggin hitter (though it'd be nice if the wild pitches stopped happening and double plays from Pablo make me sad).Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7941261488380355005.post-37998654960773266042010-06-03T09:31:57.499-07:002010-06-03T09:31:57.499-07:00At this point Cain is clearly the team's best ...At this point Cain is clearly the team's best pitcher.
