We are better off when this guy leads off an inning. Since some time last year he seems to tense up in the clutch compared to other times. Other teams will have a late game situation, and some 220 hitter coming up. and he will take a low outside pitch, stick the darn bat out, and get a hit to right field. I know the numbers have not been run here. but this seems to happen a lot, and the results show in the runs scored. I want to Thank Michael Morse for his home run the other night. Let us hope that the momentum just skipped a game.nomisnalahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/08297640472949764321noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7941261488380355005.post-32222627842106188772017-04-27T18:11:15.367-07:002017-04-27T18:11:15.367-07:00Sorry, that doesn't add up. The way it is now, the relief and starting pitching have to nearly be perfect for them to get a win. 77 runs in 23 games? Here is another way to look at it: The Giants scored more than 2 runs in only 14 of their 23 games. In their first 8 games they scored 37. That includes their only 2 games in a row that they have won (April 9 in San Diego and April 10 vs the dbacks at home). They scored 2 or less in 9 games, and only 36 in their last 15.Zonoreply@blogger.com
