Six Up, Six Down

It's only Spring Training, I know, but Matt Cain hasn't thrown a pitch in a ballgame since July of last year. Today he faced the first six guys (Rollins, Crawford, Puig, Gonzalez, Kendrick, Grandal) in the LA lineup and retired them in order, three grounders and three fly balls. I think that might be the best start so far by a Giants pitcher.

I am really happy that Matt Cain is back on the mound.

GO GIANTS!

He said he feels like he doesn't have doorstops in there.

Save some of those perfect innings for the regular season, or even better, the post season.

Yes, amazing!

Hearing about how he was unable to bend his arm much in recent seasons, and adjusting to get around that, just shocked me, that he's still an average MLB pitcher even though he couldn't really bend his arm.

And now his arm is loose and free, like he's 18 again, so I'm looking forward to seeing what he can do going forward.

And I'm sure he's going to be having perfect innings for us in the regular season as well as the post season.
