The Rays pitching and fielding have stymied the Astros so far and they take a 3-0 lead in the best-of-seven ALCS. Game Four is at 5:40 PT. The vaunted Dodgers have looked quite ordinary and they find themselves trailing the sizzling Atlanta Braves 2-0 in the NLCS. Game Three is at 3:05 PT. I thought both series would be more evened-up at this point.

Brandon Belt had surgery to remove a bone spur from his heel. He started the season late because of the heel so let's hope this fixes him up for next season. Belt swung the bat particularly well in 2020, his .309/.425/.591 marks were all career highs and he also reached the 1000-hit, 500-RBI plateau.
I just wonder how many times did he have AB's taken away from him, with bogus called strike 3 calls. Probably more on him than any batter that I have seen in a long time. He also gets a bunch of possible check swings called strikes because of the long swing he has. Braves seem to be beaten down today by a dodger explosion. Lets hope that the bums have shot their load.
