Mark notes that he was watching some of the Giants postseason successes recently. Which raises the question:
Que Es Mas Improbable?
Que Es Mas Increible?
Que Es Mas Macho?

I watched every pitch in 2010 from a hospital bed. That is a good way to make sure you are not at work to see every game, but on the whole, I wouldn't recommend it. I remember the honking going on by cars driving west on Geary past Divis at all hours. It was the first, and for that reason, didn't seem possible until - well it happened in 5 games, in Texas. Of course the Rangers were favored, hasn't the American League been favored every time? Game 1: Kinstler's near home run that bounced off of the top of the center field wall back into play for a double - and not scoring. I remember watching the replay of Audrey Huff's Game 1 single off of Cliff Lee - how close it was to being caught and thinking how fine the difference between winning and losing can be. Game of inches? Millimeters.
Yeah, the Kinsler near-homer was one of those "we're in God's pocket now, lads" moments. I just knew the Giants would prevail. That was Game 2, btw. And then Renteria hit a homer in the bottom half and that was it. The bizarre meltdown by the Rangers and the Ron Washington "asleep at the wheel" managing in that game turned it from a nail-biter into a laugher.
Mas macho might have to go to 2012. As I recall, the Giants were, again, heavy underdogs. Pablo's two blasts off of the untouchable Justin Verlander, not to mention an extra for good measure, pretty much won the series right there. By the time Detroit recovered from their "What the fuck?" moment, they were locked head to head in Game 4 with the Giants up by 3.
And Barry Zito's performance against the Cards in Game 5 of the LCS has to be "mas improbable" esp. when you include his fabulous bunt. Then he out-pitched Justin Verlander in the Pablo Game and got a hit and RBI off of him!
So many of them. Ross then Renteria in 2010, Scutaro in 2012, heck, throw in Zito and Lincecum too, and, on the edge, Ishikawa's homer to win NL pennant in 2014.
Que Es Mas Increible?
Wow, lots come to mind. Panik flip for DP. Huff bunt hit in 2010. Duffy running to score in 2014. Fleming's voice cracking when Renteria's homer flies over the wall! Scutaro still standing after that douchebag slide by Holliday in 2012. Kinsler's near homer bouncing back has to be both this and improbable as well, I felt like the team was bulletproof at that point.
Que Es Mas Macho?
Has to be both BWeez and Romo's last strikeouts to close out 2010 and 2012 championships, plus Bumgarner's save in 2014. Bonds hitting all those homers in 2002 playoffs isn't quite up to those standards, but close, in my mind. I would put Lincecum's first playoff start in 2010 up there too, all those strikeouts. Macho!
Most Macho Overall ('10, '12, & '14) has to be Bumgarner.
Most Incredible? How about the play in '12 where they threw out Prince Fielder at the plate? Wow. I could watch that over and over. Pence at The Fence in '14.
Most Improbable? Winning Game Seven On The Road. Wasn't that the only time the Giants have done that in their history?
I can't think of any new additions... except maybe the 14th inning Belt HR needs some consideration for incredible (?) macho (?) Is this just WS ? I'm getting flooded with amazing memories...
Improbable : I go with Zito and the bunt game. That was a shocker to me, I'll never forget it.
Incredible : The Double Play. I'm pretty sure that will be replayed throughout WS history as the best of its kind.
Macho : It used to be Tim's game in 2010 but I have to say that MadBum's 2014 takes the all time WS macho cake. It is possible that no one will ever do that type of thing ever again... unless he does it again in 2016.

Nice FanGraphs piece on Brandon Crawford.
Sounds fun!

Don't want to forget Petit's game vs Washington.
