Two For Tim

That's right, based on the BBWAA voting protocol, Tim Lincecum is officially the best pitcher in the National League for the second consecutive year. Hey JP, how about another of those great pictures of our favorite Timmah?

OK, back to bitching about other stuff!

AWESOME!!

He deserved it, by the way, and that's not a knock on Messrs. Carpenter and Wainwright. Those guys are studs and had great years.

Tim was better. Kudos to the BBWAA for seeing that.

WOO HOO !!!!!!!

I was pretty confident after they gave it to a 16 game winner in the AL. I am surprised he got the most first place votes...I agree with that but I thought he would win by getting almost every second place vote. Maybe those writers are smarter than we think...or maybe they read our blog!!!

P.S. I'll post some pictures when I get home.

(Fact check- Wainright got 12 1st place votes, Tim got 11.)
Un-fucking believable!
Those 2 guys from St. Louis are indeed fags, as Tim"Spicoli"Lincecum recently said, albeit in a fictional manner.
Nobody has EVER gotten the Cy in their first 2 full seasons.
We're not worthy

Actually I made TWO errors:
1. Wainwright, the third place finisher, did get more first place votes than Tim. Kinda odd, only the second time it has happened(?). I think it shows a division of thought: an "old school" group that still loves wins above all (if Wainwright had one more he wins the Cy) versus the "stathead" group that use the new goofy numbers. Luckily, Tim is the perfect "cross-over" candidate: the OWNS all the sabermetrics and he is the STRIKEOUT KING. Never under-estimate the appeal of the K, especially with the old school crowd.

2. I can't post more Tim photos as I believe I lost them in my laptop crash. If I find them, I'll let you know. Sorry.

Jaysus, me bhoy, no fookin' Timmers? If ye weren't me mate I'd call ye a bleedin' gobshite. Laptop crash, eh? Fancy that. Just yourself to blame, yeah? No fobbin' it on the missus.

Martin McDonagh's mom and dad are from Cos. Sligo and Galway. My paternal grandparents emigrated from Sligo, and my maternal grandpa is from Galway!
