It is hard to believe that it is worse now as no more Bengie, no more Rowand, no more Feliz, and Pablo is doing a much better job at less frequently swinging at bad pitches. Yes the giants still refuse to take their share of walks. Until tonight I was hopeful that the pitching staff would not be a league leader in walks, but with Zito's outing, and the control Timmy has had, it looks like our pitchers will be out of the strike zone, and our opponents will gladly accept the walks. Take a walk from Timmy, its an automatic stolen base, so a walk vs Timmy is as good as a double. At least if no one is on ahead of the batter. Poor pitch selection, plus sloppy play is costing the giants games.
