That's More Like It

Back on the winning track today in a sunny afternoon game. Wish I would have been there, I'm sure it was delightful. Jonathan Sanchez threw 109 pitches in 8 innings, struck out 11 along the way. He only gave up three hits, including two in the 6th. Then he walked country singer George Jones to load the bases, but escaped with no runs. 8 IP, 3 hits, 3 BB and 11 K for Jonathan's first win. Brian Wilson was brought in to get some work in the 9th so he will be fresh, but not too fresh, in Los Angeles. The Giants chased starter Craig Morton after 6 and had to face the tough Jack Taschner in the 7th (man, Pittsburgh is full of guys who were on other teams last year). Here is a bit of bad news: Pablo's hit streak, which goes back to last year, was broken. Oh well, I'll take 6-0. A home run and three rbi for Eli Whiteside, a seemingly improbable inside-the-park hr for Huff and a 2-run hr for Rowand. Well done, lads, take tomorrow off.

And here is some good news. Note the author's name.
I followed it on GameCast at work! Wow--just watched the vid of Huff huffin' and puffin'! Very cool.
I told you JS would find his groove, just never expected it to be so soon!
I can't see your link!
Well done, Zo! Warning: Regular blogging about exciting young stars can be addicting. Believe me, I speak from experience.
I don't like this strict 5 man rotation. What's the need since we have all these Thursdays off? It is already hurting us by having Wellemeyer and not Cain face the doggers.
I, too, can not see a link. It is a start, though.
Game Score 84!
I guess I don't fully understand your explicit instructions. I tend to be that way. http://latimesblogs.latimes.com/lanow/2010/04/dodgers-arrest-lapd.html. Is it <a href="... or <ahref="...???
I wish that I saw it (or at least watched the free gameday) but I had an internship. Did he look flukey or was he in command the whole time? 8 innings is the longest stretch so far and it would be nice to have JSanchez really step up along with Zito. Now if Matty could just remember to win again then we'd be set with Starters 1-4.

Weird cyber-stuff happening. I can see that "good news" is a link, but I can't click on it because my cursor doesn't change from "I-beam" to "pointer" when I scroll over it. Weird. And Blogger says we have 7 hecklers on the blog page (we have 8, this is 9), but the comment page has the right number. Very strange.
Is that article's author our ace superstar's sister with a speech problem?
The McCourts are scum--busting tailgaters. Sheesh. Remember when they got nasty about parking spots in Candlestick? You had to tailgate in ONE spot? Capitalist dogs! When the revolution comes, only the pure fans will be left standing!!!!
Now the heckler number is correct. It wasn't all of yesterday evening. The guy on heckler-counting duty must have been slacking.
Hey, at least they were busting dogger-loving tailgaters. I can get behind that. I think perhaps Ms. Linthicum may be from the Catalan branch of the family.
Sanchez was brilliant. Some commentators think he was almost as good as in his no-hitter last year. This was the best start by a Giants pitcher so far this year, including those by Mr Franchise.
Holy crap, things are sure coming up roses so far, aren't they? How long will this last?
