Fresno starter Madison Bumgarner had his first solid outing of the season in his home debut, allowing just three hits and two runs (one earned), walking one and striking out three over 6.0 innings pitched. He left in a 2-2 tie and did not factor in the decision. His fastball hit as high as 94 miles-per-hour on the stadium radar gun.

"I felt like I pitched a lot better," said Bumgarner, who came into the game with an ERA over 14.00. "Even last time out felt better, but this was my best start of the spring or the season so far."
