Jung Hoo Lee's 18-game hitting streak ended last night after he went 0-for-3. He hit .500 (36-for-72) during that stretch.
That's a lot of hits. You have to go back to Bill Terry (1932) to find a span of 12 games and 29+ hits by a Giants player.
Otto Lopez of the Marlins has a .342 average to lead MLB. Lee is second with a .333 and his .451 slugging is a career high.
Way to go, Jung Hoo!

I tuned in for less than one minute. We'll, maybe one minute. 1) Saw Tony V walk towards the mound. 2) Saw Miller replace Roupp, Giants behind 2 - 0. 3) Saw Miller's first pitch, a ball. 44) Saw Miller's second pitch.
That moment was so loaded with foreboding I thought I was watching a horror movie.
Turns out I was!
If miller had no options but they love his stuff, besides the rules and the union. He needs to go on the I.L. and fix his control. Too many giants pitchers this year are having serious control issues. It hurts the team and the defense. It also passes off the fans, especially when our guys refuse to not swing at bad pitches.
According to MLB's Sarah Langs (she's great) Bryce Eldridge's 19-game on-base streak is the longest for a 21-year old since Willie McCovey's 25-game streak in 1959. So our young phenom has already drawn comparisons to Roberto Clemente and Willie Mac!! I like it!!
