Every pitch he threw tonight was worth a million bucks each! His bunt hit was worth several million as well! A bargain indeed.

It is a simple formula. The Giants win, if Zito starts. Zito will have to start 7 consecutive games:

- NLCS, Game 5 - Zito starts, goes 7.2 innings, wins 5-0.

- NLCS, Game 6 - Zito starts, feigns injury after 1 pitch, Vogelsong comes in to get the win.

- NLCS, Game 7 - Zito starts, feigns injury after 1 pitch, Cain comes in to get the win & takes the series.

- WS, Game 1 - Zito starts, feigns injury after 1 pitch, Lincecum comes in to get the win.

- WS, Game 2 - Zito starts, goes 7.2 IP, gets the win.

- WS, Game 3 - Zito starts, feigns injury after 1 pitch, Vogelsong comes in to get the win.

- WS, Game 4 - Zito starts, feigns injury after 1 pitch, Cain comes in to get the win & takes the World Series.

That's sure a lot of feigning! You can hurt feigning that much.

Zito, what a great pick-up by Sabes. And he was tossing to Posey, the comeback player of the year, instead of Sanchez. The Fox analysis of this game before it started was brutal against the giants and Zito. I am glad he shut them up.

I was just watching the highlights of the 4 run rally. It should have been no runs. The Cards defense totally choked, first on the blown double play chance the shortstop was late getting to the bag and the pitcher made a crap throw. Runs 2 and 3 were clean, on Crawford's hit. Run 4 from Zito's bunt was beautiful. Maybe the 3rd baseman was playing too deep, but who would have expected Zito to do that?
There will be a game 6 in San Francisco, and that's a wonderful thing. It's going to be raining Monday. We'll see if that matters.

His curveball was a thing of beauty, and it made his 86 mph fastballs look like Aroldis Chapman's heaters.

I believe the color-guy comment here would be something along the lines of, 'keeping hitters off-balance.'
