4-2 loss vs. Nationals
I think it will be pretty obvious that I didn't follow much of the game. Sorry. But I would say I have a pretty good reason. So if you are a bit bummed about our boys, take a deep breath, drink a Mai Tai ( or any other fruity drink of your choice) and take a quick look at the Vlog. I'm back next Monday so I have a few more days of bliss. I'll take care of this mess then. Until then, Maholo y'all.
Vlog 23 "Hawaiian Jonny"

Hey, Jon - for some reason, I can't open the Vlog - says it's 'Private'.
I, for one, am pretty stoked about our acquisition of Eduardo Nunez. We got a decent Player (an All Star, even) to provide some depth at a few positions, one of which is 3B. Matt Duffy had a serious injury & was having a pretty crappy Season anyway. I'm not ready to cast him aside, but I don't expect a whole lot from him in 2016. Even if he's back, he's back w/ a dodgy Achilles, so getting someone who can give Matt & others rest is good. He's certainly an upgrade over Tomlinson, Pena, Gillaspie, & Green. They saw an opportunity for a good upgrade & took it.
Now, time to re-focus on the pitching upgrade. If Samardzija were to suck again tonight, I think that a Starting Pitcher should also be prioritized. Hiding 2 weak Starters is feasible, but hiding 3 is not. Peavy, Cain, & Samardzija are all pretty unreliable right now. The Bullpen could always use help &, as I've said before, we are really feeling the void of having no one in the Affeldt role. So, a lefty non-LOOGY seems like the way to go. Hope that we can find such a fellow.
Me too, couldn't play the video.
Jon - you have it set on Private somehow. I only wanted to see you amidst tropical breezes.
Alas - I too cannot view the Vlog - Maybe he has to win for it to work?
While MC is away I am home nursing a strained calf muscle; I can now truly feel for those injured players. Go Giants - Win one for us today!
Public now. I had to upload twice and the fecking thing defaults to private. Sorry.
There's plenty of lava shown in your vlog. Only cool. Maybe a little of the warmer stuff up the Giants' butts.
Saw it! Cute. I confess I'm taking a mental vacation from giving a shit about baseball. My daughter Maggie just turned 21 and graduated from UC Santa Cruz and right now she's in Padua, Italy, so I get daily pix and texts from her in. addition to the updates from Hawai'i. I can't be jealous exactly because the afterglow from my 2 weeks in Europe is still there. So life is good, despite how much it also sucks.
